Opie,
Hi my name is Missy. Just thought i'd mention my mom lives in Port St. Lucie and she's been telling me how hot it is there. Over 100 I believe yesterday. My mom's favorite expression about the weather is "Oh its just Beastly here!" :o)
Hope u get relief soon..... I live in NY and we have had literally nothing but rain the entire month I believe except for 3 days in June. We are drowning.

Thanks for listening. We played hide and seek with popsickles today. They thought that was fun! I have an old hot water bottle, I think that I will fill it with ice tomorrow and give it a try.
I should have read your post before I posted.
Just nice to know I am not alone in this heat induced nast place.
Thanks,
Michelle
Ice packs work great to get to the car, but if you're somewhere, it's hard to get a cold ice pack for the trip back home.
It's been really hot here for a couple of weeks. Today it got up to 102° - tomorrow it should be 101°. It might get below 100° next week... So I can sympathize! It feels like I'm in a pseudo-flare all the time. I get to work, feeling really cruddy, and about three hours later, I recover from the heat and start feeling better.
OK, prayers for a break in the weather for you are on the way.
It's only about 80 here today, and the heat in my car made me feel sick after each stop, so I can imagine how awful 100+ would make it.
Can you create a game for the boys like bobbing for ice cubes? Put a little food coloring in some ice cubes so they'll show up.... sounds crazy now that I put it in writing, sorry.
:o)
How about an ice pack or two when you have to go get in the car; one around your neck and one behind your back, to help you out until the air conditioning kicks in? I figure it's still pretty hot even after dark, but at least your car won't get as hot while you're in shopping.
