Christmas gift from the MSlogist back in limbo

I had rapid return visit at his request,  so   today   I returned to my MSlogist in Chicago today,  after my six month appointment in October he ordered MRI'S of the T-spine & L-spine because of  left leg weakness.  those came back with DDD & a cyst on a ligament in the lower back .   I also had cognitive testing completed that revealed working memory  that is lower than average.
I had scleritis in the left eye in the summer.

Bottom line,  is no clear DX without a  full flair up,  he wasn't sure   it was even CIS event.
So I'm back in limbo ,  with MS like sx and no DMD'S.

One thing I took away was he is a lesion counter,  he said the brain lesion burden isn't that great.
I have six  lesions in the classic areas and one lesion enhanced during a scan, one spinal cord lesion.
He wanted a sleep study completed and return on nine months unless I have concerns before then.

                       I came to terms with all of this  a couple of years ago.  

Toady I really was expecting to be offered DMD'S.   Well such is life and I'll move on enjoying each day the best I can as this  demon lurks some where in my body waiting to pop up one day.


Beside I'm more concerned about my son that  is 25 is currently fighting  lymphoblastic lymphoma, and we went through a period of not knowing how bad is cancer is, how far it had  spread,  since then we learn there is a 90% cure rate for him  because of his good health and age.  He has started his second round of Chemo and will be in the hospital for Christmas.

sounds like you need a new neuro after the holidays...........there is NO PAT NUMBER OF LESIONS for MS.......duh..............

Try and have a good holiday and don't let him get you down...........he's just another toad to kiss in search of a prince(ess)......

I also vote "New Neuro" after the holidays. He sounds like a putz!

Take care of you... and your son... focus on a new Neuro after you get through the holidays.

Yep, it's time to find a new neurologist... Your son needs you to be healthy.
