Has Your L'hermitte's Sign Changed or Disappeared?

Over 15 years ago, I had my first experience with L'Hermitte's Sign. At first it scared the bejeezuz out of me, but then when it occurred more than a dozen times over a year without any lasting effects or other symptoms, I just passed it off as the body changing with age.

Over the next few years, I would have these shocking sensations and began experiencing numbness and tingling in my right hand, which I thought was nerve compresion from plastic grocery bags. Funny how we like to rationalize things away!

2002 was the year that I started to realize that I was in fact having neuro problems. Over the past 7 years, I have had few if any zaps down my neck. I have however had a very strong almost popping/cracking sensation in my neck that lasts for about the same time as a zap would. It also is in the very same region as the L'Hermitte zap.

Would this still be considered L'Hermittes?

How many of you have had L'Hermittes disappear?

Disappear... reappear in the same place... disappear.... reappear in another place.... repeat for 10 years!

After a long time (months) parked in my rear, it's moved to the outside of my left knee, though still sometimes occurring simultaneously in the old spots.

I have two different main Lhermitte's sensations: an electric buzz; or a "tense/pulling" sensation (not in the same place). Occasionally it will be a vibration.

Ain't it fun. (Thankfully not painful in my case.)
