MS hug?

Hi,
I have been having a spasm type feeling under my right rib cage off and on for a few months. My doctor can't find anything wrong in that area.  It feels alot like when I was pregnant and the babies foot would go under my rib cage than move back down after a couple of minutes. Could this be an MS hug?  Sometimes I feel a slight ache in that spot after the spasm is over, but not always.

Are you sure its not your gall bladder? I had some discomfort there from a stone until I got that thing out of there 10 years ago. Never had a baby's foot there so I wouldn't know about that, but it sounds like the right ballpark. (Note: The World Series starts tomorrow.)

I have MS and have the exact same thing happen to me often to. It will happen and go away under my right rib cage too. I described the same feeling as a baby kicking my ribs during pregnancy.

Not much help either cause I havent had it checked out but we may be on to something

hmmm...i can't be sure if that would be the ms hug, but it does sound similar.

i had something that wrapped around my left side that was constant for about 6 weeks, felt to me like braxton hicks tightness or yes, even a babies foot under the ribs.  mine was never painful though.

i have heard that ms hug described as a feeling that can last for both a brief and extended period of time, with and without pain so i wouldn't rule it out.

hope it stops bothering you soon and as always, hope that you can actually find some answers!!!
