Help with my Symptoms?

Here is my timeline. I have had tingling only and leg weakness for 2 weeks now. And last 1 week had some eye pain and cloudy floaters on and off in one eye. Vision is fine and no other issue. Eye test with 2 different Ophthalmologist showed nothing (full eye test). He gave some ointment to reduce the redness and oil and dirt around eye areas.

I am on High blood pressure medicine (Altace, which some sites do list tingling and leg weakness as side effects, though my GP does not think so).

My Neuro did all the blood work and that is normal (Lyme, ANA, CBC, B12, ESR, CAT Scan)

He is somehow asking for a month wait to order any MRI or other test. Does this fall within the McDonald criteria for diagnosis and that is why he is waiting??? Should I be concerned with this and pursue other Neuro? THanks

I'd think that your neuro is waiting a month because (a) you've got an explanation at hand for your symptoms (your HBP med), (b) your symptoms have only been present for two weeks and do not sound urgent, and (c) all your labs are normal. Did your neuro do a complete neurological exam and document the weakness in your legs? What did s/he find on the neuro exam?

Your neuro is probably wanting to wait to see if your symptoms resolve on their own before sending you for an MRI. I'm assuming that nothing startling came out of the neuro exam or there'd be a greater sense of urgency. But we also should ask if your neuro did a thorough exam. Can you describe your neurological exam and what the findings were?
