Is the specialist the one who put you on the Gabapentin?  You can call just to mention that you are to see him on Thrus., but ask is there anything you can do in the meantime for relief.  You are not dehydrated for any reason are you? Just grasping at straws here, I'm sure you are not, but if there is any chance, adding some gatoraide and something w/potassium may ease if off a bit.

Hit up Retired too - he has a lot of this going on right now....

I wish I could make it go away Jules, really I do...

(((hugs)))

Thanks Shelly i can only see the neuro on a Thursday. I am going private for my treatment as my husband gets private health care through work,  i'm very lucky to have it as the electrical tests im waiting to get if i was with our NHS i would wait  [ 2YEARS ] for an appointment, outrageous is'nt it . I dont know who to go to with my problems , would it be my GP or do i consult with my neuro i'm so confused my symptoms are not getting any better i'd go further and say they're getting worse i've had most of these symptoms for going on 3months,the toe thing and the muscle spasms & pain in my calf muscles only for a week or so. Im up to 2 Gabapentin this week going up to 3 on Friday. Do you have any thoughts on who i should see.
Thanks again Shelly.

Jules, can you get in sooner than Thurs? Would be good for the Dr to see this in action.  These spasms are doing you in for sure.

I think from reading Quix's response to Retired, that the foot turning down is a result from the spasms in your calf and thigh.  Oh my Miss, I'm so sorry, it must be painful.

Don't feel like a pest - k? Your not.

Are these the same one's from the past 2 weeks? Or, are they worse? I don't know a lot about the Gabapentin, but hope others that are on it can chime in when they see it.

Hang in there honey - best you can,
Shelly
