Had an LP friday... how long does it usually take for results?

Thanks. I work at the hospital that i had it done at and called the lab one day to ask them. They said it's a send out to Nevada (we are in Texas) and takes as least 3-4 days. That's just for o bands the rest of it is done in house same day.

I think I got mine back in about two weeks. I'm pretty sure my doctor had them before then. He just didn't bother to call me...

Mine was six weeks.

Got mine back in a week as well and if I remember correctly it had to be sent a couple of hours away for analysis.

Mine was back the next day, but I imagine this varies widely depending on where it's done, how busy and how well staffed the facility is, the priority your doc places on the order, etc.
