I know how you feel im 21f waiting for my MRI and other test to see if I have ms... Im so scared stress out...
Tom Petty said it best "The waiting is the hardest part". I hated Limbo which for me was two years of tests.
I realized worry is trying to control what I can not in the future.
Hopefully you will get your answer soon.

two years in limbo. goodness. what other kinda tests should i be getting geared up for
i try not to worry all the time. i've always been pretty positive about everything. just trying to keep it up and see what happens.
i sure do like some tom petty :)
It took my neuro two days to diagnose me. I had an MRI done of both my spine and brain. I began five day IV steroid treatments on day three. I had all the clinical signs by the time I arrived at her office. The LP was given a week later just to add to her files. She said it didn't matter what the LP showed, I had MS. By the way, it showed eight 0 bands.
I was in limbo for 5 years before my diagnosis. I know how hard the waiting can be! Just so you don't hang everything on the LP results, you can have a negative LP and still receive a diagnosis.
My LP was negative. The LP is useful if it's positive but does not disclude a diagnosis if it's negative.
Here is an old thread from the forum regarding this, I hope it helps ://

my c/s mri came back fine and the tech even did a ms cut on the img. my brain mri had 20-30 lesions on it. eeg and baer/ver were normal and labs were normal. what else is there to be tested for after the spinal tap?
limbo land for that long wow! that's alot of waiting!
thx for the extra info :)
i know you're scared and stressed out with all of this. its alot to take in but just try to have faith in yourself and know that no matter what you can and will make it through this :)
i read some of your past posts and saw that you have lots going on in your life right now. try to take it one day at a time and just do what you can with each day and leave the rest for the next day.
I hope your mri will bring you some answers. you're in my prayers :)
