How is Quix?

Does anyone know how Quix is doing?  I don't know if it is appropriate to ask, but I was wondering since seeing little posting.  I hope she is doing ok.

I did not know that Quix was not feeling well but can relate to not having enough energy to chime in on discussions.  We all relate to having peaks and valley's.  I hope she will better soon.  

As for me, I am doing fine.  Haven't left the house the entire weekend because of the humidity and heat outside.  But, now I am getting cabin fever and watching my families comings and goings all weekend makes me miss my old life so much.  On a brighter note, I did get to talk to my husband who is in Afghanistan this morning and all is going fine with him, so that definitely made my day a lot brighter.  

I hope you are doing well.  I hear you have a new job lined up and wanted to share that my most favorite part of my job as a Human Resources Specialist is making that phone call to extend a job offer.  I can imagine how excited you were to get that call and also know that the person making the call is equally excited for you.  You will do fine in the new job and don't even give the physical a second thought.  It is just a formality, really.  Take good care of yourself and thanks for letting me know that our friend Quix.

How very sweet and appropriate of you to ask.  That's one of the things we do best here -- check up on each other.  I've been around here for quite a long time, and I think as important as the knowledge I get here is the feeling of friendship and community I've always felt.

Last I heard from Quix is that she was feeling a bit better, but then I've only seen a few posts from her since.  I think she was ill last week.  I'm not sure it was due to her MS or autoimmune inner ear disease, but I'm sure whatever she had made everything else worse.  She also sometimes goes through bouts of debilitating fatigue.  Usually she lets us know when this happens.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, and we'll keep a look out for her.  Sunday is her family day, and she often will look in on the forum in the evening.  Hopefully she'll feel up to posting.  If not, we'll just have to be patient and hope she feels better soon!

I'm sure she appreciates you asking, even if she cannot reply right now.
