How long for ANSWERS

Just need to vent this morning. I am sitting at my desk at work and I can't believe how numb I am yet again. It is so distracting along with the other symptoms I have daily. I have been poking myself with the end of a paper clip. I can't feel my arms face and scalp. I can't distiguish if it is a pick or a soft poke on most areas I am checking.

I am waiting for another neuro appt in a few months. I saw an MS specialist a month ago and said NO to MS "TODAY".  Spots on MRI might be Virchow-Robin Spaces. Will re-test in 6 mos. Go home and destress and take time off work. No explanation of my symptoms..nothing.

I keep on pushing myself to get in to work, it's like a loosing battle I make it in for a few days then I need a few more off. I worry of what people think sometimes because it's so hard for others to understand what is happening on the inside.

It's a terrible feeling.. and I know so many of you can relate. Do the doctors just wait to see if your symptoms keep on worsening before they really look into things. How bad do things have to get????

It is so frustrating to have these weird symptoms and doctors who don't seem to give us the attention we need.

Keep pushing for an explanation.  You can also ask them to treat the symptoms, even without a firm diagnosis.

Could your doctor possibly be waiting for the second attack that gives him the necessary info for helping with the diagnosis?  It's just a thought . . . I had a diagnosis of demyelinating disease for six months until I went in for my second MRI which showed evidence of another attack (more lesions and growth of the old ones).

Hang in there.  I know how horrible it is to sit and wait while you feel so terrible--I've been there and done that . . .
