This may be a British thing but you have a particular talent if you can get past the doctors secretary and the same applies at your kids school the secretary actually think they run the school.
I think over here they think we are a bit thick, as you don't seem to be able to get test results with out speaking to a doctor, even then you don't see the actual results. You also cannot get your hands on your records with out going through a lengthy proceedure which involves applying to the hospitals legal department at our hospital.
I just love the control freaks who want to guard our own personal information from us.
Thanks for your insight.
The results should be at the neuro office mid week. But trying to get his secretary to let me know what the say is another matter ( she a bit of the security guard type, hard to get past, lol). I'm due to see him in 4 weeks time or so, I haven't had the date yet.
Sometime he phones me up to let me know so we shall see.
All the best.
I remember when I got my SSEP.
On the second ankle she said "tell me when you feel something". I said I can feel it now, she loked at me with a funny look on her face and said "I haven't turned it on yet...." :)
I guess I was subconsiencly (big word) trying to get her to run it at a lower setting to avoid some of the discomfort (pain) I felt in the first ankle.
Anyway, another test done for you and now you wait.
I hope you get the results you want.
A good weekend to you. Mike
I hope that you get some useful results. The SSEP was the test that put on the path to a dx. I don't think you can tell anything from how the test feels and it may be that even if you have slowing of signals, it's not slow enough to be read as abnormal. Will you get the results soon?
