please help me this is driving me crazy

I have posted a question, but after reading other peoples questions and the replies I wonder if it is MS Is it possible to have alot of symptoms within about 3 weeks? I know it can take months or even years to diagnose MS. I go to see the neuro-ophthamologist Tuesday, but I am afraid he is going to think I  am just crazy, or tell me its all in my head. I really need some answers soon! If possible. I am so worried I hope they find what is wrong. Since the other ophthamologist said it was my blood sugar and that my sudden vision change was related to my sugar going up and down, and it would make my vision fluctuate but my blurriness is there all the time. I know i have already said some of this, but I am scared about what i might find out. Maybe it is all in my head, but I know my vision isn't all in my head. I can't see things that are close up now and it just happened suddenly.              GoRollTide

Good luck at your appt. on Tuesday.  I know you are scared, and I would be too, with the sudden vision problems.  So glad to see you are going to a Neuro Opth, you should find out what is going on w/your eyes.

Please don't get too worked up w/all you read here.  This is an important step in the right direction you are taking.

Just tell the Dr what you have going on, and hopefully he/she will ask you questions as to what you are experiencing.  Jot down when this all started, and if it's changed, stayed the same etc., that way if you forget, you'll have it on paper.

wishing you the best,
SL

Do you have diabetes? Diabetic retinopathy can cause changes in vision such as that you have discussed.  Seeing a neuro Opth will only help determine whats up.  Have you seen an eye dr yet? Sounds like you have. If they haven't mentions Optic Neuritis then its a good sign.  Diabetes can cause neuropathies that can mimic symptoms of MS such as in feet/hands tingling etc. Bladder frequency etc also and mentation changes.  Let us know what symptoms your having and do you have diabetes.
