I'm home

Hi friends,
I am home. Not too good. Lots of pain and trouble swallowing.
Glad to be home and thank you for all your prayers and well wishes.
My body is like a pin cushion. no good veins had to have a central line put in. I am on heparin shots and vicadin for pain, you would be proud of me i had to be partially awake for intubation... almost jumped off the or table... but i guess they sedated me enough so i wouldn't jump... very scary.
they took good care of me... no brace. just dressing on the neck

I hope things will start ot improve. John is taking good care of me.

Talk to you in a few days.
God bless,
Frann

Hey Fran,
welcome back.  So glad  you are home and recovering.  Rest well and know we're all here cheering for you.    If internet borne good will could cure you you'd be up and running marathons already.

Take care.  Gentle hugs and blessings.

Welcome home, Frann. I was so glad to hear things went well. I don't know what a central line or intubation is, but I'm glad it's over for you and I hope every new day ahead is better than the one before. All the best!

Yippee! So glad you're home. The feeling better part will come slowly. Don't try to overdo it though. You'll get rest now - impossible in a hospital! They have to wake you up every 10 minutes; I think it's a rule, lol!

You are one brave lady to be awake for intubation! I'm proud of you.

Get some rest.
