New Year's Resolutions ?

It's that time again - January 1 is about to roll the calendar over and thoughts turn to changes we would like to make in our lives.  This is a perfect time to start fresh - never mind that this is the 54 time I have had the opportunity to start anew.

Here's the start of my list -

I'm going to slow down on my posting here and reread my words before I hit the "post" button so that my thoughts are clear, and maybe more of my spelling will be correct.

I'm going to lose that last 10 pounds - my knees and back will thank me as well.

I'm going to make practical resolutions that I can achieve with some effort, and not some impossible goals that will only frustrate me when I fail.

So I'm wondering, what are you resolving for 2009?

Hoping to read your replies,
Lulu

Try to exercise more. Summer is easy because I love teo swim, but just can't force myself out to walk in winter. Forget quitting smoking, ain't gonna happen! LOL

I don't usually make resolutions but this year I would like to join a gym!  I would also like to NOT have any broken bones or surgeries in 2009 that would prevent me from exercising (bike riding) with my family.

Spending time with family members is more important to me every day - I was reminded of that when we found out my father had cancer earlier this year.

Here's to a great 2009 for all of us!

I hate resolutions, but I'll try.

My "every" year one is to quit smoking, always.

And, I am going to try not to say the "f" word...ha/ha....

Okay, okay, okay....heeheehee

Well, I don't usually make resolutions, just pray for the new year to be better than the one before.

Some things I do want to accomplish in the new year are:

Lose weight

Eat healthier

Be more positive

Make sure my friends always know how important they are to me

Try to be more informative when I answer posts here
