Not too much planned for this week except for trying to stay cool... Tomorrow my grand angel is spending the night with me and then Wednesday I'm watching a dear friends daughter for her... The 2 girls together will actually make it easier on me because they play very well together...

I really hope and pray that everyone of you have a wonderful week... Stay cool and do everything you can to keep those symptoms in check... I love you all very much...

I'll be praying,
Carol

I'm getting a round of Tysabri on Tuesday morning.  Babysitting Thursday, working Friday, and hopefully doing a little car camping in the foothills of the Sierras and some kayaking thrown in for good measure for the weekend.

Raz - I sure hope it doesn't come down to living in your truck.  Can you reach out to the NMSS chapter and ask for suggestions of resources?

Alex, I am always so please when you talk about Polly.  I agree completely about letting the dogs pick, but one of the pols would probably stuff raw meat in the pockets just to get the attn of the dogs.  I'm not horribly impressed with the honor or integrity of many of them.  Perhaps the headliners are oversahdowing the decent, hardworking legislators.

Red- 3rd time's a charm perhaps?  I hope they get this figured.

Kelly, you have quite the busy week ahead of you, be sure to pace yourself so you can make it through Sat.  Good luck to your partner with this round of tests.

Kelli - I know you would probably love to be along and enjoy the excitement but your weather is brutal.  Instead I hope you enjoy every moment of peace and quiet and find a way to indulge yourself that you can't do when the boys are home.

I have acupuncture Tuesday, new cable/phone installation on Wednesday.  Friday I'm taking a road trip with a group of friends to a great little restaurant about an hour away.  A good excuse to be in each other's company and talk a lot. The one friend is a GP- I don't get to see her often because of her schedule.

Polly and I went to a debt crisis round table hosted by Charlie Rose with Senator Hagan and retired Congressman John Spratt and a bunch of Economists at UNC today.

Polly and I both liked Congressman Spratt's the best.  The other's statements were fine if living people were not effected by these policies. Polly looked at him with her soulful eyes and he made a bee line for her after the event so we got a one on one. May be that is how we should elect officials let our dog's choose. No expensive campaigns, no lobbyists, just put them in a room full of dogs and see who the dogs like.

I am having asthma and a migraine from the heat and excitement so I guess I will take it easy.

Raz I am sorry.

Alex

I'd love to just lay around and rest all week (I'm a teacher on summer break).  I think I've been over doing it and am beginning to pay the price.  My 11 year old has different plans, however.  He cannot sit still and wants to go-go-go all the time.  He knows about the MS, but being 11 doesn't really get it.  I don't want to scare him, so I try to strike a balance between doing "things" (go to the pool, movies, beach, fishing, etc) and just chilling.  My goal this week to is to rest more than usual to try and get back on track physically.

a friend gave me a certificate to get my little dog shaved. He is in bad need of this. Big dogs i can handle but this little guy that hates being brush, groomed, or even a bath is something else. LOL. I understand the bath hang up he has as he was almost drowned at 4 weeks old. amazing that I get wetter bathing him then I ever did my big dogs.

the normal 6 hours a day job hunting. also looking for some place to live other then my truck. this means getting rid of all my stuff and finding a safe place for mom's stuff. Trying to get into a clinic for medical help. :) if I end up in my truck this will be free at the homeless clinic LOL.

also time with friends to play cards and relax some.
all is good.
