Hi Alex,
This might sound weird, but after provigil didn't really help, I tried using L-Tyrosine, an amino acid each morning and it really seems to help my fatigue and my overall attitude!
I think fighting the fatique and pain and working really hard to get beyond the disabilities and challenges of MS is like a full time job and really wears one down.
Also a short nap each afternoon seems to help too.

I'm wondering how long you took each medication. I do think the fatigue gets us worn down to a point that it takes quite a while sometimes to get on top of it - kind of like pain is harder to control if you don't take something early enough.
I don't think lazy and fatigued are even close to the same thing. When I'm fatigued I am unable to do what I want to do. When I'm lazy I choose to not do something I know I should (and could) because I just don't want to.
I've taken Provigil and Nuvigil. Both worked well but neither make me feel like I did before MS chewed holes in me. They also don't work in a very noticeable way for me. I can't tell then they "kick in". I just realize that I am able to be awake enough to function and think. I don't have to slap myself to stay awake while driving. It's not like I used to be but it's significant enough that I can continue to work.
Hope you find something that works well for you.
Mary
None of the fatigue medications made me feel any better. It is just trial and error. What works for one person may not work for another.
