I'm working all week. And I'm trying to figure out our new crappy health benefits that start on Jan. 1 (I guess at least I have benefits). I think they said in our meeting that injectables (ie Copaxone) cost $250/month and the other prescription drugs are about $60/month each. I'm afraid I'm going to have to figure out which med I can live without since I have about 6 different prescriptions. :-(
I have a cardiology appt Thurs and another doctor's appt on Fri.
This Sat we're going with my partner's family to to a small mtn town not too far away to look at 4 Christmas houses then out to lunch with them.
Wow, lots going on with you guys this week, I hope some of these bigger challenges and stressors resolve quickly and safely for all involved. ITA with Tammy's words of advice.
I'm overnight at the airport hotel in Vancouver tonight, flying out tomorrow afternoon to Hong Kong where we will be landing about 25 hours from now. 13 hour nonstop flight is a little overwhelming but bearable I'm sure. This is my very first trip to Asia, very excited, traveling with my BFF and going to visit a dear friend from high school who relocated back to HK many years ago. Can't wait to see him, will be a mini high school reunion halfway round the world. :-)
I' still getting used to my new KAFO, and am waiting for a prescription for PT.
Sarah, I hope your pacemaker appt goes well, and the Tysabri details get worked out.
Alex, it's so good to hear that things are better for you.
Dan, I'm so sorry your family is going through this.
Dennis, I hope all your appts go well. At least getting a hitch installed should be pretty straight forward.
Friends, please try to conserve your energy and strength for the things that really matter. Take care.
Tammy
Dan,
Hope things work out ok!
This is going to be a somewaht busy week for me.
Today I had my NON-appointment with my PC at the VA. My appointment was for 2PM so when 4PM came and went I left. It has been getting worse dealing with her with each appointment I have had. Between the constant delays for my appointments which gets later each time, the constant aguing with me about things that I am right about, and not willing to refer me to other doctors I finally got fed up with her and fired her sort of. They told me it would take about 1 year to get a new PC and in the mean time I have to keep seeing her. Not sure how I am suppose to do that since she gets informed about me firing her?
Tommorow I have to take my pickup in to get the trailer hitch installed. That is suppose to take several hours.
And Saturday I have 2 C&P exam appointments at the VA. Not looking forward to then as I have to get up around 5Am in order to make the first one.

World upside down tonight. Stepdaughter & most of the grandcritters suddenly hiding out here while cops hunt the SO.
Finding it very hard to pray for mercy toward him right now. Likely will be really messy for a while.
Pray for the munchkins, please, 6 of them, ranging from 12 or 13 to the one on the way.
I am totally worn out! On Thursday I hosted a large Thanksgiving dinner which was immediately followed by setting up the house for Christmas. It sure takes me so much longer to get these things done now and it really zaps my strength and energy. Very frustrating :( I am still working on getting the ball rolling with starting Gilenya sometime this year!
Getting serious training Grady my Service Puppy. Riding. Shopping for clothes. Being happy.

Waiting for neuro's office to make the next move.
