Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with
The same complaint. Both have trouble walking and
Appear to require a hip replacement.

The FIRST patient is examined within the hour,
Is x-rayed the same day and has a time booked for
Surgery the following week.

The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks
For an appointment, then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist,
Then gets an x-ray, which isn't reviewed for another week
And finally has his surgery scheduled f or a month from then.
Why the different treatment for the two patients?



The FIRST is a Golden Retriever.
The SECOND is a Senior Citizen.

Next time take me to a vet!

Thanks, gals, I was wondering if anyone was going to read this post.  It's been such a rough week for so many of us I just wanted to lightened the mood.  "Want to Feel Well" (Donna) sent it to me and I thought it was cute!!

J- I have been singing the praises of massage here for some time.  The expense does add up but the benefits of true medical massage is amazing.

Awesome!!  Shows you how screwed up the medical system is!! Everyone go and get a massage, possibly with hot stones and some relaxing music!  I am in training for medical massage as well as being a home healthcare hospice aide for MS patients here in Vegas. Talk about the worst state to access healthcare= Nevada!!

PS  I have chronic daily migraine and deal with headpain for 16 years now. I "pay it foreward" to those who need me to help forget my own pain. Neurologists are 99% quacks. I self massage as well. Check it out on youtube.com. Laugh about your pain~ at least your'e not dead yet!
