Limbo and the first year after diagnosis are really hard but it gets better. What is hard is the uncertainty. Physically it does not always get easier but you have experienced more and it is not such a shock when things come up. It is sort of like when you are young and you have your first break up or lose your first job.
This is not a fun disease. I try to live in the moment and hang on to the best moments like my balloon ride, or spending time with my family, or a nice lunch with a friend, or a kitty purring in my lap.
Hang in there.
