OPTIC NEURITIS SYMPTOM?

Hey Everyone!

I'm not dxed yet.  Question. Does ON always start with blurry vision, or extreme eye pain. Or can it start with mild eye pain.  I have been having eye twitching for almost a year. then I started about 2 months ago getting a sort of weakness with my lid. It's hard to open and keep it open.  Sometimes it will last for days and then ease up.  When I wake up I can't seem to see through my whole eye.  Now I have a small dull ache in the corners or top and bottom of eye when I move it or look sideways or up or down.  No blurryness, but I just filled a new precriptions for glasses, and I feel like they aren't strong enough  already, like I have to keep focusing to see something.  Does this sound like anything to do with ms.
My sister was diagnosed a few months back and told me I need to be checked.  She had the full  ON come on all of the sudden. within a week, with the blurry vision.  But she told me she remembers having trouble focusing with her sight.  Anyway, tell me what you think?  Sandie

Some people get ON and never even know it because the symptoms can be that mild.  But, typically you have the severe pain at some point during a bout of ON and the blurriness.

Your sisters case sounds more classic textbook, but remember that everyone can have a different experience and symptoms so best thing you can do is take your sister's advice and go see an opthamologist for an evaluation.

Hey, there is nothing specific about ms. Symptoms vary in both type and intensitiy so get checked out.
