Lumbar puncture results

Hello, I had a lp in mid dec. and all the the numbers were in the lower range of normal. I had another onr done in mid march and the glucose level was elevated over normal and the rest of the numbers were elevated and barely in normal range. Is it normal for levels to vary that much in three months ?
                                                                 Thanks,
                                                                  AK

You would need to provide more information about what test results were elvated other than the glucose level.  If you google CSF lab results, you will find that an elevated glucose level is not significant.  A low glucose level would be a bit more significant.

Look it up on the web and hopefully that will answer your questions. Or someone in the group will come along and provide a good link.  Lulu is really good at finding and providing testing links.

What is your doctor telling you now?
