any more info from anyone thanx.
Joe.
Yes, my whole body now spasms during two very distinct patterns of the MRI testing. I go into a whole-body seizure like spasms where I am practically jumping off the table. My spinal cord lesions have been active and enlarging. Also, I realized that I have at least one cyst in my lumbar spine which is making my back displaced and unstable. So, when I add all this and L'hermittes together, the techs have to do my scans about three times and keep thinking that I have Parkinson's or something...And this was after about eight valium and two narcotics to try and quell my problems. I should have been totally out of it--but, I was like a Mexican jumping bean even when not in the scanner. I have found that when doing certain areas such as the cervical spine having my back padded and supported with towels or foam helps me immensely with my MRI testing.
So, I hope that this helps in some way, perhaps.
I have not chatted with you before. Welcome to the group!!!
Best of wishes and better health,
Torey
It's possible that the vibration of the MRI machine set off some L'hermittes reaction in your neck, which would have caused you to feel tingly and out of sorts.
Hey Stranger!
Well, I cannot answer your question technically, however, I did get very strange body sensations on my last MRI's. No vision problems thought and once the magnet stopped, so did the probs.
Off the top of my head, Craig's (very intelligent hubby) wife Elaine has mentioned something about Craigs view of these larger and more intense magnets. I'm hoping she's on today and reads this, if not, I'll send something her way - k?
feel well, nice to see you again
