MRI clear--now what?

I'm feeling very blue right now.  Obviously it's good not to have big lesions on my MRI.  It was a very detailed, top to bottom (brain, c-spine, t-spine), 3T.  MS neuro thinks my sx "look, feel, sound, and taste like MS" but MRI is negative.  Neuro-psych ruled out psychological issues...  I feel really lost.

I'm making an appointment with the neuro in January.  I will talk to her then, but I don't know if I should just work on accepting or push for answers.

Steph,
that's really good news that your MRI's came back clean, but I do understand your distress at continuing on with no answers.  I hope you can put it aside for a few weeks and then revisit all of this when you see your neurologist again in January.

Hang in there - its not that far off.

wishing you answers,
Lulu

Thank you, both.  I just feel so frustrated.  Of course, then there's the eternal doubt of self--could I really be somehow manufacturing these sx?  But I don't see how.  I do recognize that focusing on it makes things worse, but ignoring it doesn't make it go away.  But I also think this is true of any type of pain or discomfort, no?

you must feel so frustrated, I hope the Dr doesn't just brush your symptoms off... when you see the Neuro, ask if it's not MS...what could it be...and keep searching..

listen to your body and hang in there, we are here for you..

take care and try to have a good holiday..
