I do have esophaeal spasms that started when I was 22. I will for sure try the room temp H2O thanks Pastor Dan

Just a thought: I am a constant consumer of ice water, but if you're having esophageal spasm, the thermal shock could make it worse. Perhaps tap water, even water that's been allowed to warm to room temperature, could be easier to get down.
Shell's right, though: call the docs. You need to get them on the case.

Could be two different issues. Both can be helped with meds. Don't suffer with it ma' lady call the neuro for something, and then make an appt. w/your MD. I'm guessing it's been going on a bit for you?
