I have had bad headaches for most of my MS, 46 years. I can remember them since age five. I have gone on a variety of medications. Mine turn into migraines and I vomit for up to 18 hours. I have permanent, vertigo and double vision since early childhood, and now have ON, which contributes to them. Mine can be so bad I hope I am having an aneurysm and it will be over once ace and for all. I have been to headache Specialists who could not help. I tried Topamax which has helped others but did not work for me. I take a variety of anti seizure drugs to lessen them. I also take Immitrex, or Frovia, on Malatax on a regular basis which is not recommended but I have little choice.

I find that not getting too tired helps with the headaches. I take naps or sleep when I'm tired and while I know it's not good, I drink caffinated beverages to help with the headaches. Your nuero can help with drugs for fatigue if you so choose. Managing MS gets easier! Hang in there!
Unfortunately DMDs don't do anything for relief of symptoms. That's a problem caused by neurological damage. The accrual of damage is slowed down by the DMDs, so you'll get more of a chance to heal the damage than you had before.
I would talk to your doctor about fatigue. I have the same problem - I get tired during the day, and sometimes I could just nod off at work! I take acetyl-L-carnitine, which is a nutritional supplement (OTC.) It seems to help. If I need more help, most likely I'll go with amantadine or something similar.
