Hi there. Thanks for the response. Test-wise, I have had a positive ANA in 2002. And then I tested negative this last year. Tested negative for RA. Just had a "clean" MRI with no abnormalities visible. The opthamologist says regarding the new symptoms, that it could be optic neuritis. We did talk about M.S. But he said that there is nothing wrong with the eye itself. He said the problem is caused by something vascular or neurological or even toxic. The urologist diagnosed me with interstitial cystitis. He spoke to me about lupus. The doctor at the hospital talked about RA.  But I just tested negative for both. The spine doctor took an MRI of my lower spine and cannot figure out why I am having so much pain. I have constant leg, hip, foot and lower back pain. He says it isn't from the spine. There is some other cause. I have an appt. with Stanford neurology at the end of the month. They will have better testing equipment. I'm hoping for a diagnosis when I see them. The doctors down here do not get it. I get two to four migraines a day. Some days I will have a free day of no migraines, but it's rare. Since 2004, it's been this way. Also, in 2000 I started to get grand mal seizures. I had a few doozies and they stopped in 2002. Haven't had one since. What a mystery....

Hi fivestudent,
That sure is a lengthy list of symptoms.  Can you tell us something about tests and what the doctors have said so far?  No one here is an MS doctor but we're all experienced with symtoms and tests and should have some suggestions for you.

My best, Lulu
