Answers on pregnancy

Hi,

I've been diagnosed with ms for about 3 yrs.  I'm currently on Rebif and just found out that I'm pregnant.  Before finding out that I was pregnant; I was on birth control, so I was definitely taken by surprise.  I have no information on what Rebif can do to a fetus and/or whats recommended, please give me some insight if you have any info.  I go to my neuro in 3 wks and I can't wait that long for information.

Thanks.

Do not take any more Rebif.  It can cause you to loose the baby.  Get in to see you obgy now. Tell them that you are on an interferron and check to see that everything is ok.  I  just got of betaseron in order to try to conieve.  There is a good chnce that the baby is ok, just do not take any more rebif!

Call MS Lifelines (the Rebif nurses) now.   I think Rebif is contraindicated in pregnancy.  If you don't have their number handy, find it on their website.

Congratulations!!  First baby?
