muscle aches and pains?

Hi, my name is maggie jo I am 31 and I started out a couple weeks ago with a toothache pain in my left knee with cramping, well my doctor sent me for a ex ray and ultra sound for clot both were neggative. now I am have pains in both legs with muscle spasms in both my arms and legs. could this be sighns of ms?  or does anybody know what this may be?  your help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Hi Maggie and welcome to the MS forum here at MedHelp. We're not doctors here but are pretty knowledgeable about this disease.

To put your mind at rest, I will start out by saying it is highly unlikely  that what you are experiencing is signs of MS.  

MS is a disease of the central nervous system, and the pain you describe in your knee is most probably muscule, ligament, tendon related.  It also is very rare to have symptoms hit in all the limbs at the same time.

The next time you see your doctor, please bring up the possibility of MS or some other neurological disease and see if an appt. with a neurologist would be in order.
