~Jess
Way to go girl!!! You ROCK!!!! What a great sense of accomplishment and your excitement just makes me want to do the snoopy dance for you. lol

I wrote you a note the other day, sorry but i think i must of forgotten to post it lol
I am so very proud of you!! Not surprised your sore, feel the burn baby!!!
Part of me wants to say dont push that hard and the other part says just go for it, if your reading your body well enough and aware of your signs, then why not reach for something that makes you feel like you've eaten a box of chocolates. lol
I'm working on trying to get back my muscle strength, wearing weights around my ankles, drinking protein shakes and trying to put some fat on my bones (yes I need some lol). I'll be happy with just more strength than i have now, but i sure want to get back on my wakeboard if i can, everyone is saying no you cant and i'm saying just watch me try!!
Thank you!! You reminded me of who and what i am, its good to have something to aim for so i'm aiming to do what i enjoy doing, little steps at a time.
Cheers......JJ
I am thrilled for you Ren!! Keep on keeping on...I hope you are feeling well and not too sore. Brought a smile to my face tonight, thanks,
XOXO,
Michelle
Thanks again to everyone for their congratulatory words and cyber pats on the back!! PD, sorry I grouped you with the women folk last time..my bad!
OK, I challenge everyone to do at least one small thing that you were told you couldn't do any more (SAFETY FIRST though). HVAC (Alex) actually started this off with her horseback riding lessons. Walking to the bathroom with out falling is significant to some ( me too *blush*).
Who's next????
C'mon people , step up to the plate!
Hugs to all for the encouragement!!!
Still grinning , but sore,
Ren
Ren, Way big success! I sometimes wonder if our doctors give us absolute limitations in order to take advantage of our natural perversity.
ess is totally right. We are far too lax in seeing and acknowledging our many achievements and successes. And they are so much more important than our struggles and failures.
Way to go!

Way to go Ren!!!
I'm smiling from ear to ear at your excitement. It's so very good to hear you happy with great news. Keep up the determination and the sense of accomplishment!
Hugs,
Erin :)
Woo Hoo!! That's great! And you outlasted the dog?!? TeeHee! You GO, girl!
yaaaaaaaayyyyy!!! ren, that is so incredible!! your excitement oozes out of that post and puts a large smile on my face!! congrats a million times over!!!
xo michelle
YEEHA! Good for you! Hold onto that great attitude.
Mike
Thanks ladies!! I appreciate the congratulatory words. Since I'm Southern AND redheaded then that's an extra streak of stubbornness.
Alex captured my mood with her reference to one of my favorite songs, hurts so good :-).
ESS- What a GREAT idea. I think we ALL focus too much on the negative and we need to change our way of viewing our state of mind and how we handle our lives with MS.
We are the same person we were before the diagnosis, it just has a name now. WE are not weaker or stronger , we are just labeled for purpose of insurance reasons. I think I will use my tracker to document the good along with any new symptoms and not check off every bad thing that happens.
After all, 2 days after my PT gal having this look of horror on her face, I proved part of her assessment wrong. We need to need to "accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative" from that old Bing Crosby (I think) movie.
Onward and upward!
Ren
Go Ren!!
I'm so happy you've had this triumph. I know you'll be able to do it again, but just take it sllow and easy.
If you keep a private journal of cr@ppy days, start one now about the good ones. All aside from what you post here. I think a lot of us would be cheered to realize how much good stuff goes on with us.
ess
Way to go Ren!!!! That's the good ole Southern Woman stubborness coming out in you!!! Don't tell us we CAN'T, cause we'll show you we CAN!!!!
Proud of you girlfriend, as always!!!!

Amen to all of the above.
You go girl! Sometimes it hurt so good.
Alex
Thanks for the congrats. I won't be doing it again for a while but just knowing I CAN makes all the difference in the world!
Ren
Just watch those steps in the dance..... you're making great progress and I am thrilled to hear you have pushed yourself just a bit extra. That is the only way we can discover how much we really can do. Playing it safe often isn't enough......
Congrats on making it all the way around! -L
