My very worse symptom-Facial pains!!!!

I started noticing getting facial pains this year...but not too bad cause the pain, even if it hurt a lot, didn't last but around a second to maybe a couple or few seconds...but in September thefacial pains got really bad...I got different pain sensations...one of the worse pains was where it felt like a sharp razor bade was stabbing my face over and over.

I really think its Trigeminal Neuralgia
...I ask for prayer when its pretty bad.
I'm thankful for the times God brought me relief. I watched a YouTube video of a lady suffering on the video with an episode of T.N.  ...she said later in her video that she wasn't wanting pity, but prayer...I just started sobbing when she said that. I am so thankful that God can hear and answer prayer...it would be awful to have to suffer without His help!!!

What brings on tour T.N. pain...cool air on my face can make me start hurting...sometimes talking, sometimes just smiling, chewing, touching my face......

What has helped you feel better? Some things that sometimes helps me is a cold "pack" on my face, applying pressure to my face, putting my head in different positions, trying to adjust my neck forward, covering my face with throw, trying to not be stressed, my husband massaging me.

I've had TN a couple of times, and what a bear it is!  No fun at all!  The cold pack on the side of my face that's affected helps, staying out of windy situations (even the wind blowing on my face has been excruciating!), and just lying quietly was all I could think of.  I was lucky in that the longest it ever carried on was 3 weeks.  Others aren't so lucky... :(

Fortunately I have not had TN but we have several folks here who do - Rendean and Michelle have both been pushed to the edge with TN.  I hope one of them see this and can share their experiences.
