NEW BLOOD TEST CAN PREDICT MS

Don't know if anyone has read or seen the site on the net about scientists in Austria, the story was dated in 2003, so I'm guessing it didn't go thru. The test looks for 2 kinds of antibodies and researchers say its 95% accurate in dx ms. Austrian researchers studying patients with possible ms symptons found that those with two kinds of antibodies in their blood early on were 76 times more likely to develop the tough to diagnose disorder than those with neither antibody.
I not very computer orientated but if you google blood test can predict ms it should come up.
It was a very interesting read.

According to the Nat'l MS Society's web site, this finding was refuted in 2007. Too bad for so many of us.

Yes, it is interesting.  But, like you say, since it was done 5 yrs ago, and nothing more's been done or said, it must not have panned out.  It does give a little hope, though.  Maybe someone's on the right path...
