quix ?? i have certificate stating ms ???

Hi All

just been to see my GP ( Dr) and he has given me a sickness certificate for 3 months and for the first time my certificate states clearly multiple sclerosis.

im still awaiting dx from neurologist, does this drs dx count as official or do i wait for neuro to tell me..

I'm with Lulu on this.  I have no idea in the world how this will be viewed in the NHS.

Sometimes it is great to have a document that states a diagnosis quite clearly, but some neuros get their panties in a bunch that someone "beneath them" spoke out of line and try to tromp the diagnosis - just out of egotism.

Jan, it sounds pretty official, but not knowing exactly how the NHS works, I would probably hold out for the official dx to come from the neurologist.
