feet and sex

This is a great idea.  I was wanting to ask this question but was afraid to.  Thank You for whoever came up with this idea.
I read this board every day.  I have only talked a couple of times.  I am still not DX.  I have a new neur doctor and we have a plan.  I have a new MRI and other test scheduled.
Ok now my quesiton...
When I have sex (which isn't very often) with my husband my feet go numb with a tickle and itch during sex.  Afterwards I wake up several times during the night with my feet cramping and feeling deformed.  It happened every time I have sex.  It is almost like that part of my body being touched effects my feet.  Does this happen to anyone else?  I have not brought this up to my doctor yet.  I already had one doctor thinking it was in my head I didn't want this one to start.

Feet bent under, like they're pointed?  Whenever my legs are in that position, my feet want to cramp.  (No matter what I'm doing at the time!)

I've experienced something like this..  first when I was pregnant... and now again - nearly 5 years later - with the onset of my most serious MS symptoms.
I have only noticed it in one position...  which could well be a major contributing factor...  being on top with my legs and feet bent under.  At first I thought it was just because I was pregnant and all kinds of strange things happen.  Especially when it stopped after the baby was born (both my first and second child - which was also my last!).  When is recently started again - knowing I am NOT pregnant - I can only imagine it has to do with the MS in some form.  I also recently have developed numbness in my right leg.
Not always the easiest thing to do, but I would at least mention it to my Neuro.

Many years ago

I told my doctor of a very similar problem, (foot cramp after sex) his response was that I must be doing it wrong !

An alternative thought to your problem of tingly and crampy feet is "hyperventilation."  During sex and expe during the O some people hyperventilate which can cause tingling in the face, hands and feet.  It can also cause cramping in the hands and feet.  If there is a nerve disruption to the feet anyway, even a minor one that doesn't usually cause symptoms, it might be brought out by the deep breathing.

I always had a post-coital headach that would knock over an elephant.  During my readings about headaches, that is one of the types of headaches often associated with sex.

Just a thought.

My feet cramp at night but not from sex (sigh) the cramping and itching on your feet may just be related to the physical changes in your body - electrical or "excited" impluses.........sounds odd...but nothing surprises me from what I've been hearing here - I can imagine that all sorts of strange things begin to happen as our body wears out...or breaks down...or whatever ....more to ask the doctor about and I bet he won't have an answer either. (I'm not jaded - just realistic.)

Hi!  Yes, this IS a good device, this EU!

I was.. how should I say...enjoying the benefits of marriage one night...and my legs just kind of stopped working.  They were so weak.  My husband was sensitive about it, and then we had some fun about him being so powerful, yada, yada....

I can imagine this would be difficult to bring up to your doc if he is inclined to brush you off anyway.  I believe you. And sorry it happens.  One of those wacky, wacky things.  Don't let it stop you, though!

Feel well,

Zilla*

Do you always use the same position?  Your feet or legs could be under too much pressure and complaining about it!

That's really wild...  So you lose feeling in your feet, and then during the night they cramp up?  I wonder if it's the exertion causing that.  When I exercise, my feet go numb, and sometimes cramp afterwards.
