New Layout - I'm completely lost!

I'm sorry folks, I'm sorry Medhelp. But, it's hard to look at our community as a "community."
The new layout appears to isolate the individual discussions.  It's hard to get a feel for "what's being talked about in general."

Just spent a little more time going through this new format.  Hate it!!  I think all the thinkgs I hate about it have been covered above.   Should I still send MH my feedback?

Sorry I'm late to post this but the moving advertising at the top and side of the posts is distracting and is something that sets off a migraine and blurry vision as it is hard for to see certain areas of my visual field without causing the above issue.

Thanks for listening.

All -

I cut and organized a bit out collective suggestions and sent the ALL to our community manager.

Keep your fingers crossed, and keep an eye out - hopefully things will start looking up.

Thank you all so very much for taking the time to put your thoughts to words for the cause!

I hadn't gotten around to seeing or reading this.  I'm glad I did now and don't mind at all that the rest of you covered so many of the sticking points I've noticed.

Right now this page has the familiar blue hue that is easier on my eyes.  I see if it's just this page when I switch.  If it's a return to blue by popular demand-Thank You.

If those changes Emily is talking about come to pass it should make things easier and a bit more familiar. Otherwise, I suppose if I have to adjust to using those new light bulbs by next year I can adjust to some changes here too.  Can't risk being told I'm too old to change.

I also just discovered the option menu (labeled as Forum Settings) on the front page (where threads are listed).  Mine had been set to sort threads by 'Date Started'.  When I switched it to 'Last Post' I found it felt more familiar and it's easier to follow conversations in progress.

Can't think of anything new.  Thanks Shelly for starting this.  Looks like it's been helpful.

I have to agree with practically everything said here....I don't like this new layout. The welcom messages are not visible, you can't get a feel of the disussion threads....I just don't like the layout!! As fortywhat2 (Debbie) said, MS is confusing enough to have other confusing things in the mix.

Change is good but I would love to go back to the old view or modify this new one a bit more to make thigs a bit more accessible, easy to to connect and read through.
