Hiya.
Ditto Udkas!
Make a list of everything and know your top THREE things/issues. Work on getting those things addressed.
Every time I've taken a list or notes in to the exam with me? They've all been impressed and expressed appreciation, of all things! We are able to actually get something accomplished in the appointments and I can leave feeling like my concerns were addressed.
Also, from my experience in insurance, it seems that some docs get fed up with patients who come in and start complaining. You don't want that to happen to you.
Help your doctor help you.
Know the top three things you want addressed. If you have a patient or a sincere neuro, maybe you can get your other issues addressed as well but that might be a long stretch.
I hope things go super well for you today and that you're able to get some answers.
Good luck!

Hi Twist,
wow tomorrow is a very quick appointment, look on the bright side you don't have to stew about waiting and then it is all over and done with.
I suggest you make a list of points you wish to cover in your appointment or a time line. I always find that if I have a list I don't forget anything that I want to say as I always before I leave look down my list. I am fortunate that my Neuro is usually generous with his time but if it's a new neuro hopefully they will be wanting to gather all your history.
Sometimes giving them too much info can lead off the important things too so just try to keep it simple but covering what it needs to.
Try to relax as if you are stressed then you will find it difficult to get the thought process happening and to beable to ask or think of the right questions. I think everybody goes home and thinks "why didn't I ask that".
Best of luck, I hope this neuro is nice and that you get some answers etc.
Cheers,
Udkas.
