question for the ladies.

Hi,  I have tingle in the middle of my back, fingers, leg, arm  in  several spots, tingle rush down my butt to back of both  legs.. Mostly on left side but it does happen on right side  occasionally. This has  been since February. Face is constantly slight numbness  sometimes  ear pain. blurry vision for about a week. When I walk my left foot will get a buzz in the heel or slight numbness.  Now I have numbness in my lady parts. My question ladies do any of you get this?  Some of these symptoms are subsidizing a little. Are these all symptoms of ms?
I have seen a Neuro in April.  Have had nerve tests,  evoked potentials and everything is ok I am told.I just don't feel right.  Going to see a ms neurologist this month.

Do you know whether your scan was done on a 1.5T or 3T machine?  The reason I ask is that it is very, very hard to see spinal lesions on 1.5T MRI's.  (Quix wrote something about this somewhere).  I think this is why they sometimes prefer to do motor evoked potential testing as it's said to be more accurate.

Best wishes

Hi there,

The sx's you've mention are in general sx's connected to MS but they are also connected to many other conditions too. In MS, genital issues like numbness would typically be caused by spinal cord lesions, but its possible that you have something structurally wrong with your spine eg degenerative disc disease. Though something along those lines, could be a potential explanation for a lot of your sx's, i really doubt any structural issues could cause 'all' your listed sx's.

Did you get a brain and spine MRI done, if so did anything show up? Has any of your test results come up abnormal, from any of your testing?

Personally, i do have varying degrees of genital, bowel and bladder issues, though i wouldn't really call it numbness per-say, definitely an absence of normal function and sensation lol it's quite difficult to describe actually hmmmmm best i can come up with is that the 'muscles' in that entire area for me, either don't work at all or they overly work eg spasm.

Cheers...........JJ
