I'm not sure I know how to answer that question. I do know that during my pregnancy I felt wonderful and that's very common for symptoms to improve during pregnancy. So I guess the HCG being a pregnancy hormone it has a similar effect.
I typically have a lot of leg pain, burning, tingling, buzzing and skin pain and right now it seems to be calmed down. Its still early but so far I've been impressed.
I like the fact that it's a hormone that you can have naturally instead of the manufactured drug and if it offers any relief I'm on board. Even if I get a year out of it that's one year that I don't have side effect of the other drugs on my body. As I learn I will post more for sure. I just wanted to share the idea so everyone can research and learn as well.
Thanks for sharing your experience with HCG, sounds quite intriguing given the difficulty in treating neuropathic pain. By what mechanism does HCG relieve this symptom? I always have a need to understand not just whether a drug works or not, but HOW it works.
