Night sweats?

I've been waking up in the middle of the night with my shirt drenched from a night sweat. Is this a symptom of MS? I'm on Tecfidera and I don't think that's to blame. Thanks.

I'm male so I don't thing my night sweats are 'hormonal' :-)

I have them every once in a while, like last night. I have never given any thought to looking into them.

I also agree with JJ. Night sweats get lots of mentions when it comes to Tecfidera side effects.

Thanks guys. I'll mention it to my neurologist. I'm only 25 so I don't know if it would be hormonal but definitely something else for me to think about.

Hey Lauren

Um I wouldn't automatically discount the night sweats, being a side effect of Tecfidera.......I recalled something about hot flushes but had to google if night sweats on Tecfidera was an issue being talking about, unfortunately it is, so it could actually be the Tecfidera and its probably worth mentioning to your neuro.

Cheers.........JJ

It's been happening to me too the last couple of months, but it's never made me think of MS. I assumed it was hormonal fluctuations. I'm not that troubled by it, so I'm letting it slide for now. But man, it's cold when I get up soaking wet!
