muscle biopsy

hey everyone I am still in limbo land  and i am having a muscle biopsy done on Thursday and hopefully we can get some answers. has anyone had this done? if so what is the recovery period? I have been diagnosed with idiopathic neuropathy and i have muscle weakness in the legs and arms so thats why it is being done. After I will make the appointment for that doctor that LuLu was taking about

Thanks for the info My doctor is going to knock me out I dont want to have a local. Did you get any answers from the biopsy?

I've had one.

A little bit painful after the local wears off.  Pain for four days. They used stitches in mine, so they had to come out. Soreness for about three weeks. No serious long-term side effects.
