There are many medications which can help. Everyone is different. I tried many before I found a cocktail which works. I was directed to the best pain specialist in town and that has made all the difference. He is not at a hospital clinic but in private practice. He thinks outside the box and tries some new things since for me I had tried about 20 or more medications. Some would work for awhile and then stop and some the side effects were horrendous. You do not have to suffer. My first Neurologists did nothing about symptoms they were more interested in progression. It was another Doctor who led me to the pain specialist.
I hope you get some relief. I got my life back and I ride horses and train service dogs and do a lot of walking. all this was too hard a few years ago.

HI Vecky,
Ok - thank you for letting us know. Well, I have heard that lyrica has helped some. What has the doc suggested you try for it? You can stay symptomatic unfortunately, even w/out disease progression.
For some though, it's an attack. It's so individual so it's important for you to weigh this out with your neuro to know if it's an attack, or just something chronic.
There are other tysabri users on the forum as well, and I will alert them of a new member and user on the forum.
I'm sorry you are not feeling well, but hopefully we can help you out with some next steps. If you feel comfortable to do so, please tell us a little more about how you came about diagnosis, and we'll do our best to help.
