Perscribed Reglan. Take it or not?

My gastero perscribed Reglan.  I am affraid to take it.  I have bad reflux and nausia after eating most meals.  The side effects of Riglan are bad.  What do I do?  It can cause parkinsons symptoms as well a galactorhea (which I already have), and a host of other things..    http://www.rxlist.com/reglan-drug.htm  This sight is an interisting read.  

Any past users?  Advice form all appreciated.

Reglan caused my mother to develop Parkinson's Disease.  Never take this dangerous drug ... it should not have received FDA approval!

I did the research after the appointment.  I amon protonix for acid control and I have a script for phenegrin.(sp)  I am going tostickwith that combountil my nest appt in 3 weeks. I think......

Sorry, no experience here, but oh my, I'd be afraid too with the chance of making an existing issue worse.

Did you mention your fears to the Dr.? Or, did you do the research afterward, and are now scared?  It's that old balancing act, symptoms vs. risks, side affects, etc.  Not an easy place to be in.

I had a terrible time with reglan; not one of my favorites. Is reglan the only RX being offered for your refulx and nausia? How about prilosec or prevacid?
