Thanks to you, I have been learning more and more.  I read the McDonald dx criteria info and more.  Now, I'm no doctor, but if I have MS, I fit the "primary progressive" type.  It happens more in older people, the way the symptoms came on gradually and were easy to ignore at the start, etc.  The info also said that a LP often doesn't come out positive for MS in the PP type.  If I am understanding the McD matrix, what I need for a dx is the VEP.  Lesions on the brain, numbness, weakness, fatigue, VEP....that's it.  Am I getting that right?  If the last blood work comes back neg I'm going to look for a specialist.
Bless you all,
Mary Kay

Good luck Mary Kay with finding a good neuro to take good care of you!

I was in Portland last year doing a deal (acquisition) and the president of the company took me to a couple of nice restaurants right on the Harbor - I is lovely there!
