in limbo

i am just learning to use this,  hit the enter button and ended my question.  I will carry on..  as i stated I just had another mri a couple of weeks ago  got the results today.  the impression said there is sable minimal supratentorial white matter disease.  findings remain non-specific. three of four of Barkhoff's MR imaging criteria for demyelination are fullfilled. possible ms.  minimal acute on chronic right sphenoid sinusitis.  not sure what all this means.  I am waiting to see another neuro.  the last one i saw said that i was depressed and not dealing with some underlying issue??   please let me know what you think.. any advise is helpful     thanks

Hello and welcome

I went undiagnosed for over 1 year and got a second opinion with another neuro and it was the best thing I ever did.  I think you are making a good move.  I wish you well and hope you are seen soon to get some answers Take care - Heather

hi Hildy and welcome to the MS forum at MEdHelp - a good place to be if you are in limbo.  I am so glad you are seeing a different neuro - if the first one dx'd you as depressed ... you may be depressed, a lot of people are, but you also have something neurological going on in your brain.  I hope you get into hte next doctor pretty soon so you don't have to wait and wait some more.

Be well and welcome again!
