New oral meds

Has anyone used Tecfidera and have you had success with it.
I have been on it for about 6 weeks, very few side effects, but I think I am beginning a relapse. I have never used any other meds.

I too am on Tecfidera since July. Rocky start, ie major GI issues, but have overcome these.
I too have calf and foot arch pain. Don't recall having it on a constant basis before Tecfidera. Then again, memory not so good anymore. LOL.
Best Regards, barb

It is funny you mention pain in the arch of your foot and hands, as I've had the same things recently.

Hi Eric.
Lots of pain in my aft foot, arch mostly, both hands and quite a bit of fatigue. I only ad flushing the first week and a bit of nausea.

Hi, Kenna:

I have been on Tecfidera since June. This is my first med as Dx was May 13, 2013. Didn't experience any flushing and had only very mild GI issues early on.

I am being monitored weekly for liver levels and absolute lymphocytes. Both counts were slightly out of range prior to my most recent test.

Since starting I've experienced constant calf muscle twitching and some tightness in the legs and arches of my feet. Not sure whether to classify this as a relapse or just daily symptoms of the disease.

What makes you think you are having a relapse?

Eric
