C affine doesn't always work. With me it actually makes me sleepy.

I am in limbo for dx of ms. I have lesion on the brain and negative blood work for other diseases. Had spinal tap and will get results next wednesday. I will definitely bring it up to md about fatigue. Just was not sure if anyone had some suggestions to help decrease the fatigue. I drink coffee but it makes my heat issue worst. It has been 95 plus where I live.
Believe it or not this is when caffeine is good. It works!
I don't know if you have MS or something else or are in limbo, but it's tough to give you advice not knowing what the source of your fatigue is. I suggest you discuss with your GP and/or neuro. You should have bloodwork run to rule out infections and other possible medical conditions, eg: anemia, or, autoimmune diseases other than MS. If you're currently on any medications, these should be reviewed as fatigue could be a side effect, or the result of an interaction between 2 or more meds. Diet may be a contributing factor: there may be nutritional changes you can make to improve energy level. Moderate exercise when you're able may help improve the quality of your sleep.
Some may suggest Provigil or other similar med. While this may prove to be helpful, I hope your physician would first do a thorough evaluation to get to identify the primary source of your fatigue, and not just automatically give you a Rx.
