Rx question

i've started remeron low dose then supposed to get to 45mg but i doubt i can get to that. 15mg seems about all "I" like. more seems into the zombo-zone. but hey, thats just me. soooo hard it seems for me and an A/D to gel. i dunno, ya know?

neruo Rx'd  oral methylprednisolone. like for five days and see how that helps with severe fatigue and some weaknesses (upper torso more than lower). i'm wanting to try anything that might help with this but gotta check it here.

i'm just checking in and putting it out there to see how other MS'ers who've tried these did with them.

but, being devil's advocate here, is pred a good idea for fatigue as we get fatigue all the time..........I thought we were told (correct me if wrong) that to limit steroids as much as possible since excessive caused bone loss, etc.

I too had not herd of using it for fatigue.  True its cheaper than Provigil (am still reeling over that price) but......

I'm with Shell in that I have no personal experience treating fatigue with prednisone.  I hope you will let us know how it works for you.

Hi Ufrust!

I've been on prednisone, but not for relapse! When I 1st read this I saw the remeron, and knew nothing about it, and the prednisone slipped right past me.  I have to say it's a bit of a miracle med for many things - so I say go for it.

Did you start it?
Sorry your post slipped :(
