Last Aricept pill taken today, and I feel good.  My dreams have become more vivid, but not any more interesting.  Sigh.  Still waiting for gastric side effects to become more obvious - nothing really problematic, but I'm already having trouble there.

I seem to be progressing into left side weakness, but my right side hasn't gotten completely better.  If I'm going to have a weak right and a weak left, this is going to be a problem.

We're talking about finding a new neuro - any suggestions?  My thought was to go to my PCP and ask her to recommend somebody else.  Or maybe ask to be referred to an MS specialist.  No question that I need a new neurologist - this self-service neurology thing is all well and good, but I'm not supposed to be the one with all the answers.  That's the job of my neuro.  What if I miss sxomething?

Appointment with MS specialist at local university hospital is already over (2:30 this afternoon).  We looked at the MRIs together and my other medical records with exam and although he can't diagnose MS quite yet, he said that it is at the top of his differential list.  He agreed to take me on as a patient.  I'm not happy about still being in limboland, but I am happy that I have a new neuro who happens to know MS.

I see my MS Specialist Wednesday at 12:30.

My symptoms have lightened up somewhat, but get worse again when I'm active, so I'll be active before I go.  Maybe I'll take a warm shower, too.  I just hope how I'm feeling shows up on neuro testing in the 30 minute appt.

I have an opthamologist appointment tomorrow at 9:30 with a new dr. - fun way to start my day. I haven't had an eye exam for almost two years and this is the first since my dx of MS.  I have lots of little visual problems that should be noted on my records for future reference.
Be well,
Lulu

Sure would like to swallow and speak normally. Would like for these symptoms not to progress so rapidly anymore.

Frustrated and a down pour of tears, getting tired of them.

I have a follow-up with the periodontist, followed by an extra compression and mammogram of an area they want to look at harder, and (drum roll)

My first appointment with an MS specialist.  Of course, my body is pulling that take-the-car-to-the-mechanic-and-it-works-just-fine routine.  My hubby actually did that with his car last week--at least three things wrong that wouldn't act up for them.

Will report back this afternoon, pre-weed.
