Sciatica ?

One day, i sliiped my left foot ang almost did a split.I didn't fell when it happened but i heard a sound at my hipbone. it was really painful. then nunbness of my left finger tips and left leg occured within 3 days. i had few sessions with a physical therapist, numbnes was lessened and only the left fingertips & left toes got slightly numb at this time. Now i could feel electric shock from the back of my head heading straight down to my toes when i bend my head downwards
The electric shock is very much felt when i wake up in the morning rising up from my bed. Now, I seem to notice that my right foot is getting slightly numb and when i do a lot of walking.. i started to drag my right foot. I'm so worried now because my right foot seems to get thinner. What is this? Sciatica or any Lumbar disease?

As someone who has had spine related nerve issues (spinal stenosis) and has MS, I totally get the confusion.

While I was having my spine issues (since corrected via surgery) I had no idea I also had MS. The same was true with my gait issues related to my arthritic hip (since replaced).

There can be substantial overlap of symptoms. Numbness, migrating symptoms, L'Hermitte's sign? I think it's time for a neurologist.

Hi, i still haven't consulted a Neurologist but only a Chiropractic Practitioner or Physical Therapist, especializing in Accupressure and Reflexology. After 4 sessions with him for 2 weeks, the numbness was lessened. Now, i seemed to notice that the problem moved on my right leg. I couldn't lift my right toes when standing up.I could walk with my both left and right toes but when i tried to walk with both my heels on the ground.. I was lifting and dragging my right foot

Have you talked to your doctor yet about the electric shock when bending your neck? We are not trained professionals on this forum but experienced patients. I would recommend that you make sure you've told you doc about all these symptoms and if you are not then referred to a neuro, ask for the referral. The fact that your symptoms affect an arm and leg makes me think central nervous system rather than peripheral. The electric shock when you bend your head down sounds like L'Hermittes, which is also a central nervous system symptom. I'll be wishing you all the best.
