No I didn't get a copy. I think I can request them from my neuro, but I haven't so far since I am not a tech nor am I doctor and wouldn't know how to "read" one anyway. This is my 2nd MRI. Next test is more labs and an EEG. I don't think I have anymore veins left for more blood to be drawn.
I fell asleep during the first part before they injected the dye and my leg jumped...twice. So I was worried that it would mess it up but I think since they were doing my spine this time my legs weren't in the machine so it didn't blur.
The last 5 minutes were the worst. I felt a little panicked, but I got through it. And I got a free pair of socks and a free sleep mask out of it. :)
I'm glad you made it through this - interupting the mri sequence is not that detrimental, as you found out. I hope you got a copy of your mri when you left the lab.
My worst is everytime I get in the tube my nose begins to itch. I have to breathe through it until my mind can conqer this phantom itch. It always happens once I am at a point that I can't raise my hand to scratch.
feel better, Lu
Thanks Sarah,
Well I did okay until the last 5 minutes then I went into a coughing fit (practically choking) and couldn't find the little ball that they gave me to squeeze if I needed to stop. I guess they can't hear me when I am in the tube. So he came on the intercom and said, we had a little movement with that one, then I said, "I need to come out!" So I came out and got a drink of water and finished the last 5 minutes. I am so glad that it is over with.
Been there with a cold myself and remember dreading the same thing so just try not to think about it as the more you do the more your nose is likely to tickle!! Hope all goes well and the sniffles stay away
