Send thoughts MRI tomorrow

Well, its been 6 months so its time for my new MRI tomorrow (full brain and spine). Doctor said again that based on clinical history (new symptom of crazy vertigo showed up this past month) it looks like MS but we need something substantial on this new MRI (last one had 2 small spots in pons after radiologist gave it a 2nd look). So I'm going back to same machine, same protocol so we shall see.
Send positive thoughts for answers, or permission to move on from limbo land.

If you are going in for the full exam (brain and spine) you will be there for several hours.  I hope that this MRI is being done with MS Protocol, which means thinner slicing images of the brain and spine and contrast dye.  I think when they are looking for MS, this is the way it should be done all the time.  Some dummie Neuro's don't do this and I think it's a waste of the patients time and insurance money.  Just my opinion.

Sending you positive thoughts for your scan.  Hang in there.  I know that lying still for that long in that MRI machine will be difficult.  Drink plenty of fluids for 24 hours if you are having the contrast dye.  It helps the kidney's flush the dye from your system, which is extemely important.  It's hard on the kidney's for sure.

Good luck dearheart and let us know how it goes.
